Hitman Absolution is heavy handed with the cutscenes, and it’s not a good look. The story aims for some kind of schlocky, transgressive thriller, fumbling all the way through with ridiculous characters and an obnoxious script. Slumming it is a voice cast full of notables, including Steven Bauer, Vivica Fox, and Traci Lords. You get the feeling that the story is all-in proposition for Io Interactive. It’s unfortunate that it’s good for little more than some laughs at its expense.So it's one of intelligent games.
